Soneva commemorates International Ice Cream Day

At Soneva's renowned ice cream parlors, a tantalizing assortment of limited-edition flavors has been introduced. Each of Soneva's award-winning resorts in the Maldives and Thailand has a complimentary ice cream shop open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Many use indigenous ingredients such as cold-pressed organic coconut oil, banana blossom, or fragrant screwpine fruit, which are unique to the island resorts.

Soneva Jani's ice creams and sorbets are now dairy-free, sugar-free, gluten-free, and nut-free. The sugar-free and plant-based almond milk with rosemary at Soneva Fushi's So Cool is a wonderful treat flavored with fresh herbs. The sweet and savory combination of bacon and mascarpone, speckled with chunks of crispy bacon; and the indulgently creamy bonito pie with banana, chocolate nibs, and a rich toffee sauce.

Nicecream, a creamy taste pleasure that combines coconut and cashew ice cream with turmeric and tamarind, is one of Soneva Jani's new flavors. So Chilled's tiramisu is a chilled twist on the divine Italian combo of coffee, chocolate, and mascarpone; banana and crispy choco, with decadent dark chocolate and brown sugar caramel undertones; and crispy bacon rocks, with salty-sweet bits of crispy bacon.
