Patina Maldives has announced the exclusive residency of
Michelin Star-awarded Chef Kazuo Harada at KŌEN from March 12 to 16, 2024. Chef
Kazuo Harada, known for his innovative fusion of Japanese tradition with
Brazilian flair, will oversee an exclusive series of omakase dinners at KŌEN.
He will also explore local markets to source inspiration from indigenous
ingredients, creating a unique menu for his residency. Born to a Japanese
father and a Brazilian mother, Chef Kazuo's passion for gastronomy was ignited
by his grandfather who owned an oriental restaurant in Liberdade. His culinary
journey began at the Grand Hyatt in São Paulo, leading him to immersive
experiences in Japan and Dubai. Chef Kazuo Harada joins an esteemed roster of
culinary luminaries hosted at Patina Maldives, including Michelin-starred chef
Bo Bech, who recently visited in January and will return in September to
showcase the Nordic culinary movement at KŌEN. Together, these culinary
maestros promise an unforgettable dining experience that transcends boundaries
and celebrates the artistry of global cuisine.
