Handhu Charter Boat offers surfing charters with crowd-dodging itineraries, allowing guests to surf remote locations and up to six atolls in 12 days. May-November,Handhu is deployed for 12-night, one-way directional trips (Male-Laamu) to surf the Maluku, Hadhdhunmhthee, Meemu and Laamu atolls (in addition to the North & South Male Atolls at the beginning or conclusion of the trip). These more remote Central atolls contain many recently discovered secret spots that help you avoid crowds and experience a wide variety of waves. With additional exposure to SW swells that the Male atolls lack (in addition to S and SE swells), these breaks can function on a greater variety of swell directions. Offshore winds are virtually guaranteed over a longer season, with east, south and west-facing reefs available. Our surf guide's aim is to get you surfing where no one else is in pristine, perfect locations. At the same time you'll have the opportunity to spend several days surfing the famed waves of the North Male Atoll including Cokes, Chickens, Sultans, Honkys and Jailbreaks. A 90-foot vessel, theHandhu is very well laid out, with air-conditioned twin cabins with en suites and air-conditioned saloon and lounge.Handhu's sister boat,Handhu Fahli, is a 78-foot version deployed in the Male Atolls or Outer Atolls depending on the season. If you're a keen fisherman, bring your own gear and lures! Even if you're not, you will find yourself hooking into a spot of game fishing as you travel between breaks. The variety of species is unbelievable. Trips start in Male Atoll and finish in Laamu Atoll (with domestic flight back to Male) or reverse direction. Please note 8'0" boardbags and over will be unable to travel on this trip, as the aircraft cargo hold cannot accommodate longboards.
