Male` City has two main beaches that were developed dedicatedly for recreational purposes. The Artificial Beach and Rasfannu Beach are both great places to relax at and enjoy the sunrise and sunset.
The crescent-shaped Artificial Beach on the east of the island offers some breathtaking sunset views. You'll find several benches and swings surrounding the beach, loved by the locals for picnics and swimming. With many cafes and restaurants nearby, grab a drink or a snack to enjoy as well.
On the west is the popular Rasfannu beach, the perfect spot to watch the sun set down the horizon. With a sunset infront and the tallest building in Maldives behind, this is one of the most picturesque places on the island.
