Old Mosque

Maamigili Old Mosque is said to be built during the 1700s. The compound has a mosque, a cemetery and water well. The mosque building has a prayer hall, fenda on three sides, rising stairs with dhaala.
It is built on a coral stone raised platform with mouldings, coral stone walls and a simple roof structure. The coral-stone walls are decorated with intricate carvings, but the roof and ceiling do not have decorations.
