George Corbin and his daughter received recognition

George Corbin and his daughter Georgia have been granted the inaugural Abaarana (Gold) Tier of the Maldives Border Miles, the world's first destination loyalty program. At an exclusive event held at the Velana International Airport, the Minister of Health, Honorable Ahmed Naseem, awarded them with the award.
Members of the Abaarana Tier receive the most preferential offerings. Free VIP services are included in the most generous offer to this Tier. Mr. Corbin led the first party of tourists to the Maldives on February 16, 1972. They were mostly journalists and divers who were enthralled by the archipelago's natural beauty.
