The Maldives' Lhaviyani Atoll is a famous diving destination for scuba divers. The majestic animals can be seen at a number of dive sites. With the arrival of underwater scooters, their favorite hangouts have become ever more available. The elegant animals patrol the channel walls, coral corners, and even the inner reefs.
Since 2010, shark fishing has been prohibited in the Maldives, making it a shark sanctuary. The Maldives is a well-known shark hotspot, with a diverse number of species frequently seen. The shark population in the Lhaviyani Atoll will be assessed as part of a new research initiative. The project will use Baited Remote Underwater Video (BRUV) to monitor the reef shark population's stability. Shark diving lessons are available at Hurawalhi Maldives' Prodivers Dive Center.
Hurawalhi is a private island in the Maldives' pristine Lhaviyani Atoll. The adults-only luxurious resort sparkles as vividly as the water that laps at its shores. The property is home to the world's biggest undersea restaurant, '5.8,' a gastronomic haven. The Maldives are commonly regarded as the best diving destination in the Indian Ocean all year.
