Earth Hour 2021 was observed in the Maldives

The Maldives' resorts joined millions around the world in celebrating Earth Hour 2021. To raise awareness, island retreats got imaginative with their decorations and switched off their cameras. The lovely Earth and ways to get consciousness were discussed at Lily Beach Resort & Spa.
The General Manager of Amari Havodda Maldives, along with EuroDivers Instructor Jaey, organized a reef cleaning in front of the supply jetty to commemorate the occasion.
At Meera Spa, Kashiveli, By The Sea, and the OverWater Pub, Gili Lankanfushi switched off all the lights and lit candles. Under the moonlight, guests were treated to a special dining experience.
The Maldives' Vakkaru squad took part in the global campaign by shutting off non-essential lights for 60 minutes.
The JW Marriott Maldives Resort & Spa joined millions of people all over the world in commemorating 'Earth Hour.'
