"Aragu" is one of Asia's best restaurants

The first and only restaurant in the Maldives to make the list is 'Aragu.' The restaurants in Asia that were voted 51st to 100th in the latest edition of the World's 50 Best Restaurants have been revealed. The 51-100 list aims to highlight a broader selection of companies around the country.
The restaurant was named one of the Top 12 Best Luxury Restaurants in the Maldives by Luxury Lifestyle Awards in 2020. Velaa Private Island's signature restaurant offers cuisine that combines the East and the West.
A passion for culinary art is combined with environmental consciousness and sustainability at this restaurant. Chef Gaushan de Silva puts a creative spin on the classics.
