There are now 728 tourism facilities open

In the Maldives, there are currently 154 resorts, 445 guesthouses (and hotels), and 140 safari vessels in service. The bulk of the resorts are open for business, while a handful is undergoing renovations. The Maldivian tourism facilities currently have a bed capacity of 48,440 beds (out of 54,022)

By July 7th, 2021, the Maldives is expected to have over 528,157 visitors. With almost 128,000 arrivals, Russia is the Maldives' most important individual market. India, Germany, Ukraine, and the United States are among the country's most important source markets. In the coming weeks, the Maldives will be able to resume granting visas to South Asian travelers.
