Maldives easing COVID-19 restrictions

Today, the Maldives announced a further relaxation of COVID-19-related limitations. Individuals who have received two doses of the -19 vaccine and have a negative PCR test will be able to travel to unmonitored populated islands without being quarantined. The second dose has now been administered for 14 days.
South Asian tourists would be able to visit resorts from July 15, 2021. South Asian travelers can stay in Maldives guesthouses starting July 30th. According to the guidelines, cinemas, daycare centers, and tuition/Quran centers will be able to open. Food restaurants will be able to serve dine-in customers until 2330 hrs. The current delivery services will be maintained.
