Iberia to Start Flight to the Maldives

Iberia, a Spanish airline, has begun direct flights from Madrid to Male', with the first flight arriving at Velana International Airport on July 3rd, 2021. Iberian has arrived in the idyllic Maldives with its inaugural flight IB6791, flown by A-330/300 EC-LYF and carrying 218 passengers. In 2021, Iberia Airlines will fly from Spain to the Maldives for the first time. The airline will fly Airbus A-330/200 and A330/300 aircraft, each with a capacity of 288-292 people and a total of 15.120 seats. From July to August 2021, the Spanish airline will operate three weekly flights to Malé, the capital of the islands.
