As entrance restrictions for travelers ease, Emirates is ramping up operations and expanding services across its network to meet robust leisure travel demand this summer. In July, the airline will restore service to seven cities: Venice on July 1st; Phuket, Nice, Orlando, and Mexico City on July 2nd; Lyon on July 9th; and Malta on July 14th. Starting July 22, Emirates will begin flying to Miami, Florida's second largest city and one of the world's most popular vacation destinations.
As more destinations reopen for international travelers, Emirates will increase frequencies to 12 cities throughout Europe, Africa, and North America. To satisfy significant passenger volumes and high demand throughout its premium cabins, the airline is also expanding its trans-Atlantic operations Milan-New York and Athens-Newark. With the addition of Miami to its network in July, Emirates will provide over 26,000 seats on over 70 weekly flights to the United States.
This summer, Emirates will activate over 30 A380s, bringing its premier experience to 15 cities on 129 weekly flights. During the summer, the airline will use the A380 to fly to Cairo, Jeddah, Amman, Guangzhou, London Heathrow, Manchester, Frankfurt, Vienna, Paris, Munich, Moscow, New York JFK, Los Angeles, Washington D.C., and Toronto. Customers traveling out of Dubai may use contactless technology to offer an extra layer of security to practically every stage of their journey. As part of the airline's partnership with the Dubai Health Authority, Emirates clients can also validate their Covid-19-related medical information without using paper.
