Visit Maldives will hosts a group of Journalist

From June 9 to 16, 2021, Visit Maldives will host a group of journalists from the US market. This is the first time the market has gone on a familiarization tour this year. The goal is to market the place as a safe sanctuary for tourists. The team is made up of journalists whose work will be published in prominent media. Robinson Club Noonu, LUX* North Male' Atoll, and Kuramathi Maldives have been booked for the trip.

This year, there are various other actions planned for the US market, including influencer familiarization tours and cooperative marketing promotions with tour operators. Despite the current pandemic, the US market has been steadily growing. This market had 15,914 arrivals as of the 3rd of June 2021, placing it as the 6th most popular tourist destination.
