The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands is Marriott International's most recent luxury acquisition. The Maldives are known for its pristine white sand beaches and turquoise waters filled with marine life. The resort welcomes guests into a world of unparalleled luxury and unforgettable experiences by inviting them to embrace the beru, or circle of island life. "This is a watershed moment for us, and it is poised to restore confidence in international travel," said Rajeev Menon, Asia Pacific President ( excluding China)
Kerry Hill Architects, a multi-award winning firm, designed the Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands. The resort has 100 luxury one- to three-bedroom villas that are positioned either over crystal clear waters or along picturesque beach coves. Each room has a 'Aris Meeha,' or island butler, who attends to the guests' every need. The minimalist design is considerate of the environment's visual impact and incorporates much of the natural environment into the guest experience.
Seven diverse cuisine locations are available at the Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands. Summer Pavilion, Iwau (Japanese for "celebrate") is an open-air restaurant with two teppanyaki burners. The cheerful atmosphere and easygoing gastronomy of the Mediterranean inspire the family-friendly Beach Shack. Tum Tum is a snack truck serving light Asian delicacies, while Arabesque is an eye-catching replica to a typical Bedouin tent. The wellness-focused menus at the resort are designed to provide visitors with customized treatments and therapies to improve their health and well-being. Massages, massages, and acupuncture are among the most popular therapies.
The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands offers a variety of activities that immerse guests in the best of Maldivian island life and culture. The resort's Ambassadors of the Environment Program is Asia-first Pacific's of its kind. The Ritz Kids program at the resort includes 30 activities designed to inspire wonder and exploration. Guests can also take leisurely cruises aboard traditional dhonis, where they can swim alongside turtles and manta rays and possibly see dolphins. A family cooking class, a bike safari around the resort, and an ocean mystery program led by one of the resort's professional naturalists are among the surprises. A full-service spa is also available at the resort.
Bamford, a sustainable and holistic wellness brand, has teamed with The Ritz-Carlton. Nine treatment rooms, including a spa suite with its own relaxation area, a hairdresser, and a boutique, are available at the iconic facility. A botanical and artisanal body and skincare line by Bamford, inspired by the Maldivian archipelago's native culture, is also available on the menu of personalized spa treatments and restorative massages.
