Qatar Airways and Oman Air have expanded their codeshare agreement to include over 80 destinations. The agreement's growth will provide passengers on both airlines with more convenient and smooth travel options. In December 2020, the two airlines announced an agreement to significantly increase strategic partnership. "We are thrilled to further deepen our collaboration with Oman Air," stated Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive, His Excellency Mr. Akbar Al Baker.
The expansion of Oman Air's cooperation with Qatar Airways demonstrates both airlines' commitment to providing more flights, a wider range of destinations, and greater flexibility to its passengers. Passengers will be able to experience seamless connections via the Best Airport in the Middle East as a result of the strategic partnership's most recent extension. Qatar Airways, the country's national airline, continues to expand its network, which now includes over 130 destinations, with ambitions to expand to over 1,200 weekly flights to over 140 destinations by the end of July 2021.
Hamad International Airport, a cutting-edge worldwide gateway, has received four 5-Star Skytrax evaluations. The 2019 World Airline Awards crowned Qatar Airways "World's Best Airline." 'Best Airline in the Middle East and 'Best Business Class Seat' were also given to it. More than 40 destinations, including Casablanca, Montreal, New York, Paris, and Singapore, offer Qsuite. It is the world's only airline to have received five 5-star SkytraX ratings.
