Visit Maldives partners with Amazon India

The campaign is part of a larger effort by Visit Maldives to boost outbound arrivals to pre-pandemic levels. Affluent shoppers, travel tourists, and advanced engineering enthusiasts are among the categories targeted by the initiative.
Amazon India touches 77 percent of India's digital community, with 65 percent of audiences interested in travel and hospitality. In order to maintain the destination's popularity in the Indian market, Visit Maldives has organized publicity, travel agent, and celebrity familiarization trips. Several activities are currently underway or intended for the Indian market to promote the Maldives as a safe haven.
The Maldives' top source market for tourism is reportedly India. Visit Maldives intends to keep up the momentum by undertaking a number of marketing campaigns in India. The Maldives began administering the COVID-19 vaccine on February 1, 2021, with the government aiming to give free vaccine to both civilians and inhabitants.
