The Most Popular Travel App in Spain

From April 13th to April 20th, 2021, a group of well-known travel and lifestyle influencers will remain in the Maldives. Today, top Spanish influencers arrived to promote the destination on the Passporter App. In the Spanish market, the app was the most downloaded in the travel segment. It has received several coveted awards in the fields of photography and tourism.

During their one-week visit, the influencers are hosted by Cocoon Maldives, Fushifaru Maldives, and Kuramathi Maldives. Turtle hunt snorkeling, water sports, sunset cruises, semisub, yoga, and lavish spa services are among the leisure and fitness events they will partake in. The Passporter App will feature four itineraries, each highlighting the special encounters recorded during the journey.

With over 36,064 tourist arrivals in 2019, Spain is one of the most important markets for Maldives tourism. After the Maldives reopened its borders in July 2020, Spain became a top market. After the reopening of the fences, 4,307 Spanish visitors have arrived in the Maldives. The aim of Visit Maldives is to maintain the destination's presence in Spain.
