Hanifaru Bay is a Manta Feeding site located in Baa Atoll, reknowned for being the biggest manta feeding hotspot in the world. It is a vital feeding and breeding ground for Manta rays and Whale Sharks.

The best time to see these jaw dropping marine creatures is between May to November. Note that diving is forbidden. The site is protected where access are being monitored by Manta Trust. It has been declared a UNESCO Biosphere reserve; hence boats coming and going are monitored and ensures that no more than 80 enthusiast visitors snorkelling at the same time.

Despite the rules, this is one of Maldives’ most exciting experiences. This jewel of the stunning Baa Atoll offers you the most amazing opportunity to swim with the gentle giants of the ocean.
