The Maldivian Passport reached another milestone

According to the Guide Passport Ranking Index, the Maldivian passport is now ranked 61st. It has visa-free access to 88 countries, earning it a mediocre overall mobility score. Passport holders, on the other hand, need a visa to enter around 142 countries around the world, which necessitates fairly extensive travel planning. The European Union as a whole, the United States, and Australia are among these destinations.

Passport holders from the Maldives can visit a total of 88 countries, either without a visa, with a visa on arrival, or with an electronic travel authorization (eTA). As a result, the Maldives passport is currently ranked 61st worldwide. The Foreign Ministry has been attempting to improve the Maldivian passport in order to make it more convenient.
