Maldives is hosting a high tea for journalists and influencers

High tea was hosted by Visit Maldives for Indian media and influencers. The event took place after the MILT Congress, which was held in Mumbai. Thoyyib Mohamed, Managing Director of Visit Maldives, thanked Indian media/influencers for their help in promoting the Maldives. He went on to say that the Maldives is expanding to meet the needs of various segments of Indian tourists.

A familiarization trip for Indian media, celebrities, and travel agencies was organized by Visit Maldives. The Maldives' biggest source market is India, with arrivals increasing at an exponential rate until 2021. By September 23rd, the Maldives had welcomed a total of 843,552 tourists, with 191,824 (or 22.7%) from India. Other similar tours are planned by Visit Maldives in the coming days.
