SriLankan Airlines, Sri Lanka's national carrier, has announced flights to Paris, France. The airline will begin nonstop flights to France three times a week, on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, using an Airbus A330-300 fleet. Flight UL563 is scheduled to leave Colombo at 00:35 a.m. and arrive at 07:30 a.m. at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport.
SriLankan Airlines is the first airline in the South Asian region to receive the 'Diamond' award from the Airline Passengers Experience Association (APEX) and SimpliFlying, a recognition for the additional safety measures and complete hygiene procedures taken since the global pandemic began. The airline stopped flying to Paris in November 2016, but temporary passenger and freight flights were available during the epidemic in July and September 2020.
