The Tourism Ministry has signed an agreement

The Maldives' Ministry of Tourism has signed a leasing agreement with FEDO Private Limited to construct a 100-room hotel in Kelaa. The agreement to build the hotel in Kelaa's thun'di area was signed. The Maldives' Tourism Minister, Dr. Abdulla Mausoom, and MP Ibrahim Shareef were present at the signing ceremony.
The Maldives have 674 operational lodging facilities as of March 15, 2021. There are currently 377 guesthouses, 137 safari boats, and 149 resorts available. Chic inns and boutique guesthouses can be found in the Greater Male' Area.
The Maldives had 238,533 visitor arrivals as of March 15, 2021. India continues to be the Maldives' most important tourist source market. With a market share of 21.5 percent, Russia is in second position.
