Dusit Thani welcomes its new CSR Manager

Mr. Federico Catalioto, a sustainability expert, has been named the new Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Manager of Dusit Thani Maldives. Mudhdhoo Island in Baa Atoll, the Maldives' first UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, is home to the resort. He has vast expertise leading corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities for hotels and resorts that focus on holistic sustainability.

Dusit Thani Maldives was founded by Federico Catalioto. He graduated with honors from Sustainability Management School (SUMAS) in Switzerland with an MBA in Sustainable Hospitality Management in 2020. His responsibilities included lowering the resort's carbon footprint, keeping track of sourcing and usage, and participating in sustainability webinars. He'll be in charge of internal projects including the hydroponic garden, recycling and garbage management, and new food waste reduction requirements.
