Raffles Maldives welcomes its new GM

Raffles Maldives Meradhoo's new General Manager is Amila Jeewantha Handunwala. He has worked at the St. Regis Maldives Vommuli and the Waldorf Astoria Maldives and has over 25 years of expertise in the luxury hospitality industry. His knowledge and experience will be key in taking the legendary twin-island getaway to new heights.

Maldives Raffles Meradhoo, located at the Maldives' southernmost point, has been greeting visitors in quest of pure tranquility since its inception in 2019. Every guest has access to a Marine Butler, who will gladly give snorkeling tours of the resort's two beautiful and endlessly intriguing house reefs. The Raffles Royal Residence, a sprawling six-bedroom villa with 1,700 square meters of living space, as well as a new Whale Shark experience that takes guests on a traditional Dhoni across the Indian Ocean in search of sharks up to 12 meters long.
