Baa Atoll Resort offers a "better" burger

Posted on: 6/20/2021, 10:41:11 AM
The Maldives' Most Ethical Burger has been curated by Baa Atoll Resort. The burger's unique almond flaxseed roll is ideal for individuals following a low-carb, gluten-free diet. Organic ground almonds, psyllium husk, flaxseed, and apple cider vinegar are used to make the rolls. It's then slathered in Amilla banana ketchup, which is prepared on-site with organic bananas and coconut sugar.
Kaviraj Doolum, Amilla's Executive Chef, has designed the Ethical Burger, a grass-fed, fat-marbled beef burger. The Maldivian rocket is coupled with melted grass-fed cheese, which is high in vitamins and inulin. The finishing touch is a fried egg, which comes from the end of Cluckingham Palace, the naturally lush islands chicken coop, where the joyful free range hens forage and play with their duck buddies.
