Qatar Airways expand their number of flights

Starting July 1, 2021, Qatar Airways will expand the number of daily flights between Doha and the Maldives. Three daily scheduled flights are presently operated by the airline using B777 aircraft. Following the reopening of borders following a period of closure due to COVID-19, Qatar Airways was the first airline to resume service to the Maldives.
The Skytrax 2019 World Airline Awards recognized Qatar Airways as the "World's Best Airline." The airline is the only one to have won the prestigious 'Skytrax Airline of the Year award five times. For the sixth year in a row, Hamad International Airport (HIA) has been named the "Best Airport in the Middle East." Qatar Airways will be able to fly British, Irish, and UK residents into London-Heathrow again from Qatar beginning June 11, 2021, in accordance with the latest UK Government guidelines.
