Air Seychelles offers direct flights to Maldives

In June, Air Seychelles will restart direct flights between Johannesburg and the Maldives. On Friday evenings, flights leave Johannesburg. Travelers can enjoy a whole week of relaxation in the Maldivian islands after returning from Male. Before continuing on to Male's International Airport, the flights make a brief stop in Seychelles.
Visitors from India, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Nepal, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan have been temporarily barred from entering the Maldives. Travelers who have spent more than 24 hours in transit in the aforementioned countries, as well as those who have visited the nations in the last 14 days, are subject to the travel restriction. All inbound travelers must produce negative DNA samples to verify they haven't had a negative DNA sample obtained within the last 96 hours. This includes passengers who have received their second dose of COVID-19 vaccination. The Maldives remain open to the rest of the globe, with travelers receiving a free 30-day visa on arrival.
