GoAir Rebrands as Go First

The airline is in the process of switching over to this new brand for all of its activities. The new livery will have a sunrise-themed blue tailfin as part of the branding makeover. All of these adjustments are part of GoAir's transition from a low-cost to an ultra-low-cost carrier (ULCC) The CEO states, "This rebranding represents our faith in a brighter tomorrow."
Following an increase of COVID-19 cases in the region, the Maldives government issued a temporary travel ban for travelers from South Asian countries on May 13th. The temporary suspension of tourist visas for South Asia will be reassessed by the end of May, with a view to lifting travel restrictions by early June, according to the Ministry of Tourism. The airline is also planning an initial public offering (IPO) to raise money for its development goals. The number of people flying has plummeted, with direct routes from Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, and Hyderabad among the worst-affected.
