The W Maldives has been named the recipient of the 2021 TripAdvisor Travelers' Choice Best of the Best award for Romance – Asia. Despite extraordinary circumstances, W Maldives stood out to travelers during a difficult year and offered an unforgettable experience.

The W Maldives has won two significant TripAdvisor Awards for 2021. The Travelers' Choice Awards honor the destinations that have wowed visitors the most in the previous year. Tripadvisor's highest honor is the Best of the Best Award Winner. "This award recognizes the outstanding support and experience you gave travelers in the middle of a pandemic," said Kanika Soni, Tripadvisor's Chief Commercial Officer.
