Chef Pedro is a seasoned manager with an outstanding resume and over 20 years of business experience. His experience boasts years of international culinary excellence, and he is known for his classic Spanish and Basque cuisine. The finest address in the Maldives, including Crust, Decanter, The Whale Bar, Cargo, Craft, and the resort's world-renowned signature restaurant Alba, offers guests the season's new mouthwatering menu items and a delightfully expansive selection of dining choices.
Chef Pedro is the Executive Chef at Hong Kong's Langham Hotel. He previously worked at RyuGin in Tokyo, where he was trained by Chef Yamamoto. Chef Pedro was most recently the Executive Chef at the St. Regis Kula Lumpur in Malaysia, where he was in charge of both kitchen channels and culinary activities. In Japan, he has three Michelin stars, and in Hong Kong, he has two Michelin stars.
